Belmond recently launched Good Living, a new concept in well-being, all about enriching experiences that go beyond wellness (think beyond the spa and fitness center) to create memories formed through mindfulness and meditation, phsyical and mental challenges, cultural immersion and “champagne moments” (yes, please). Experiences like self-care on the beach in Anguilla, poetry workshops in Sicily, a floral art workshop and flower festival in Madeira, and a Mayanmar river cruise adventure, led by the youngest Arab woman to summit Mount Everest, are just a handful of the unique and enriching activities being offered this year by Belmond.
As a luxury travel advisor, I am always looking for experiences that will enhance my clients’ travels. City tours, cooking classes and wine tastings are wonderful, but I’m constantly in search of offerings that will take it to the next level, things my client probably hasn’t thought of, but would love. Belmond is now making that easier with its launch of Good Living.
I’m especially loving their Wellbeing Through Meditation retreat offered at one of my favorite properties on my very favorite Carribbean island, Belmond Cap Juluca. Held July 5 – 9, 2020, this four-night program is hosted by sisters Nadia and Katia Narain Phillips, lifestyle gurus to celebrities like Kate Moss, Reese Witherspoon and Sienna Miller. During the retreat, the sisters will share the value of taking time to care for your body and mind, in order to allow for full enjoyment and balance in life. Enjoy a self-care workshop on the beach, a sunrise yoga class, a signature Taino healing salt spa treatment, and a one-hour night kayaking experience. Check out the Nairain Phillips sisters’ books, Self Care for the Real World and Rituals for Everyday.
Clients of The Hollyday receive special VIP perks, upgrades and amenities at all Belmond properties.
