Call us basic, but rosé is our adult beverage of choice in the summertime. But now that Labor Day weekend has come and gone, our rosé supply has begun to dwindle off the shelves of our refrigerator. We decided to whip up a light, refreshing spritzer this weekend to enjoy the last few bottles of our favorite summer wine. It was so good that we want to share it with you, too.
Let’s all raise our glasses of rosé, and toast to a great summer.
LAVENDER LEMONADE ROSE SPRITZER
1 bottle of your favorite rosé
(Go for one that’s light and crisp, which will flirt perfectly with the lavender and lemon.)
1 bottle of sparkling water
1 or 2 lemons
1 bunch of lavender
Mix 1 bottle of chilled rosé with one bottle of chilled sparkling water in a pitcher
Slice lemon, squeeze and add to pitcher
Break off lavender buds from stems and add to pitcher
Pour into glasses over ice, garnish with a slice of lemon and a sprigs of lavender, and serve.
