Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking, We Know.

Spring is in the air, which means, if you’re anything like us, that in addition to spring cleaning and spending more time day-drinking on patios, you’re slowly incorporating color back into your wardrobe, exchanging red wine for rosé, and visiting your colorist for those subtle highlights.  What else should you be shifting towards spring? Your signature fragrance.  Because let’s be honest: as good as your winter scent might be, there’s just something off about walking around in pastels and florals smelling like cedar and sandalwood.  Below, we detail for you four of our favorite floral fragrances of the season, and where we plan to wear them.

1. Aerin Mediterranean Honeysuckle

Aerin Lauder’s newest addition to her  fragrance collection features notes of grapefruit and honeysuckle, with hints of sun-drenched bouquets, perfect for any beach escape.  Even the bottle’s blue-topped stopper will remind you of the Mediterranean Sea.

2. Tracy Reese

Scents of citrus, delicate magnolia, and lush greens make this a quintessential crisp, classic fragrance to wear to a brunch or bridal shower (because, wedding season) on a bright spring day.

3. Giorgio Armani Si

This sultry but springy scent has us dreaming about warm Miami nights with its composition of vanilla, blond wood and soft florals with a hint of spice.  (BTW, rollerballs make the perfect travel size.)

4. Folle de Joie

The first (and so far, only) fragrance by clothing brand Joie was inspired by California beaches and Parisian charm.  It’s crisp and sophisticated aromas of woodsy florals would add the perfect freshness to a sunny day spent in the city, but this fragrance goes well in any setting.
