NYC's Cutest Coffee Shops

If there’s one thing New York City will never be in shortage of, its coffee. And that’s a good thing, because New Yorkers live off it, as evidenced by the city’s supply to satisfy the demand. There are options on every corner, but sometimes you just want to post up in a cute coffee shop where the atmosphere is just as good as the caffeine. I’ve rounded up my favorites in Manhattan, including Maman Soho, pictured here. Keep scrolling and add these adorably delicious spots to your list!

Maman Soho
Best coffee shops of NYC.

Multiple Locations

Maman is an adorable coffee shop, bakery and kitchen with multiple locations. Head to any of their Manhattan spots (Soho, Tribeca, NoMad, or Meatpacking) for coffee and one of their famous chocolate chip cookies (one of Oprah’s “Favorite Things”!) in a rustic chic setting. And check out Marché Maman, their retail shop and restaurant next to their Soho location.

Toby's Flatiron

160 5th Ave., New York, NY 10010

The Flatiron location of Toby’s Estate is connected to an outpost of the Strand Bookstore (which also has a little flower shop inside) and a Club Monaco store. Sip some espresso while browsing coffee table books at Strand or do some window shopping at Club Monaco. (Image via Toby’s Estate.)

Bird & Branch NYC.

359 W. 45th St. New York, NY 10036

Bird & Branch is a cute new coffee shop near Times Square with a mission – the husband and wife team plans to give back to the community by creating a job training program for people with barriers to employment beginning September 2018. If that’s not something to get behind, I don’t know what is. Not to mention, its an adorable bright and airy space and a perfect retreat from the chaos of Times Square. Saltwater Coffe NYC.

345 E. 12th St., New York, NY 10003

I love this East Village coffee shop for its interesting flavors – try the purple Ube Latte (made from purple yams) or the Charcoal Vanilla Chai. The owners, originally from Sydney, seek to bring Australian style coffee and a leisurely coffee shop experience to reflect their lifestyle back home. (Image via @samanthanie.)

Bluestone Lane Coffee

Multiple Locations

Bluestone Lane is another popular Aussie spot with multiple locations in NYC. Pop into one of their coffee shops for a Melbourne-inspired beverage or visit one of their cafés for a seasonal breakfast and lunch menu with full table service. (Image via @bluestonelanecoffee.)

The Elk, NYC.

128 Charles St., New York, NY 10014

This quiet little West Village spot is part coffee shop and part general store. The Elk offers delicious coffee, a full-service café plus a selection of home and lifestyle items curated by the owner, a native of Vancouver. (Image via @premejames.)
