You know the glow I’m talking about. No, not the one women magically get when they’re pregnant, and not the beautiful glow of a bride-to-be. It’s the glow of summer… the result of being in the sunshine (but with SPF, of course), spending all weekend outdoors, beach trips, long nights on porches, and all that Vitamin D. Sure, summer can bring sunspots and sweat; humidity and shine. But overall, the summer sun sends down it’s glow.
That is, unless you’re stuck in an office 40+ hours a week. You may or may not know that I am an attorney, which means I spend day in and day out in my office. So outside of a summer vacation, those of us who spend our days behind a desk need a little help faking said glow.
Enter, Laura Mercier’s Radiance Primer.
I’ve used Laura Mercier foundation primers for years, but a few months ago, I started using the Radiance Primer before applying my foundation and I love the results. It’s a lightweight, vitamon-rich gel cream that goes on smooth to prime and illuminate the skin. Plus it’s water-based so it doesn’t feel heavy or cakey (never a good look for summer).
This primer is going with me into fall and winter and will keep me looking like I just stepped off a sailboat in the south of France. After applying the Radiance primer under your foundation or tinted moisturizer, swipe a little contour on and you’ll be glowing all year long.
