HOW TO PLAY TRAVEL ROULETTE

LIKE AN ADULT (AND MUCH CLASSIER) VERSION OF SPIN THE BOTTLE

What to do when you wan't to travel but can't decide where to go.

When your list of places you want to travel is as long as ours (it’s, like, really long), it’s sometimes hard to decide where to go next. The options are endless… the world is your oyster… you get the gist. So when trying to decide where we would go for our next
Hollyday City Guide, after going back and forth, we decided to make a little game of it and let fate choose.
And below, we show you how to play this easy little game when trying to plan your next getaway.
Happy travels!

STEP 1:  PICK YOUR PLACES

Get together with your friends (or whoever you plan to travel with), and make a list of places you’d like to go.
Since we have some international travel planned in the months ahead,
we decided to stick with several U.S. cities we’ve been wanting to visit.

We chose:

ASPEN, CO

AUSTIN, TX

BOSTON, MA

NASHVILLE, TN

NEW ORLEANS, LA

PORTLAND, OR

SAN FRANCISCO, CA

SAVANNAH, GA

STEP 2:  MAKE YOUR ROULETTE WHEEL

Using a piece of poster board, draw a wheel making as many sections as you have places in step #1.
Write in the locations you chose.

STEP 3:  SPIN THE BOTTLE!

Using a bottle of champagne (pop it and celebrate when you’re done!) or your favorite beverage of choice,
spin the bottle until it lands on a destination.
Then start your planning!

WHERE ARE WE HEADED NEXT?

We landed on Savannah, Georgia and are so excited to head south soon for hopefully some warm weather
and lots of exploring around the city! Have any recommendations? Let us know in the comments,
and stay tuned for a Savannah City Guide here on The Hollyday!

My home city! You’ll love it. For an old Savannah staple, check out the basement bar of the olde pink house. For something new and trendy, try the grey, which a cool restaurant built into an old greyhound bus station. The Mansion on Forsyth just off the park is a great place to stay
