Five travel apps that make planning your trip a breeze.
SKYSCANNER

Skyscanner is our favorite app to use when it’s time to book a flight. It scans thousands of airlines and travel companies to give you the best results, narrowed by price, flight duration or landing time. We love its user-friendly interface which also allows you to search for hotels and car rentals, and features price alerts and the cheapest flights for weekend trips.

TABLET

Tablet features the lowest-available prices from a curated selection of upscale boutique hotels and properties in a wide variety of national and international destinations. Looking for those extra perks? Join their Tablet Plus program for an annual fee and enjoy privileges like room upgrades, late checkout and free breakfast, as well as their helpful customer service to make booking a breeze.

HOTELTONIGHT

This app is great for spontaneous travel or those of you who wait until last minute to plan your accommodations. HotelTonight seeks to provide a mobile approach to booking hotels (because we’re all on our phones, all the time). The company grabs those last minute vacant rooms at your favorite hotels and provides a quick 3-tap booking process.

AIRBNB

Many people think that renting an Airbnb rather than a hotel room means an automatic skimp in luxury and hospitality, but that’s not always the case. Some of the most unique and magical places can only be found on Airbnb, and are rented out by hosts who have the hospitality thing down pat. The Airbnb app makes it easy to browse and save your favorites for future travel.

WITH LOVE FROM KAT

Fashion and travel blogger Kat Tanita launched a travel app named after her blog, With Love From Kat, after years of receiving recommendation requests from her readers. Now in its second version with 17 destinations and counting, the app is beautifully designed and features tailored and trusted recommendations that have all been approved by the blogger herself. It’s the perfect resource to consult when you’re trying to make reservations and plan out your trip.

All apps are available in the App Store.

Happy travels!
