Is it just us, or does anyone else have a tendency to over-commit during the holiday season? Don’t be fooled, we love a good excuse to throw our routines by the wayside and celebrate the season every chance we get, but sometimes we find ourselves overwhelmed to find the time to get everything done… especially when it’s our turn to host. Which is why we love to have an easy but impressive cocktail recipe on hand for when you really don’t have the time to mull your own freaking cider.
Enter the Christmas Kir Royale, a festive twist on the classic cocktail of champagne and Chambord. It couldn’t be any easier.
Chambord (a black raspberry liqueur)
Chilled or frozen cranberries
A few sprigs from the Christmas tree
Pour champagne into glasses and add a *splash* of Chambord. (A splash will do. Who has time to measure?)
Add a few chilled cranberries in each glass to keep the cocktail cold while also giving it a festive touch.
Top each off with a sprig of pine from the Christmas tree, adding a hint of Christmasy-flavor and looking really fancy.
